Why can't i flash my BIOS?

For some reason, I can't flash my Asus P4PE BIOS. I have aflash.exe and the upgrade file on a floppy, but when I put it in at startup i get the "Non system disk" error and I have to take the disk out to continue booting. What am I doing wrong?
 
Dude, you got a...................go here and make an NT bootdisk, add the awardflash program and new bios *.bin onto it and try it again. 🙂
