Why can't I find any proofs on how to get the mean and variance of the lognormal distribution

I'm reading a Survival Analysis book and they talk about the lognormal dist. extensively, but I can't find a proof on how the mean and variance is gotten. Google is no help either. I tried myself but came up short. I don't just want the answer. Any help?

My stats book says justification is given with the Central Limit Theorem in ch 5. Of course, when you go to chapter 5, it says nothing. That might be somewhere to start though.
