alright, i really don't get this.
i dunno if it's buggy hardware or buggy software or the powers that be.
i've setup a m0n0wall box so that i can have a VPN endpoint into my network. for some odd reason, v1.1, which is the current version. i even tried v.1.0 which doesn't work. the only version that would work was the beta. anyways, that's an issue for another day.
so things were working alright for the most part. well a few days back there was a power outage. and only yesterday i decided to power the m0n0wall box on 'cause i'm headed outta town for a few.
well, it powered on and things were alright on the server end, but i can't connect to the machine at all.
i am able to ping the machine from my OBSD firewall, but i can't ping it from any other machine. i can also ping the OBSD machine from the m0n0wall box.
i know the first thing that will come to anyone's mind... pf rules... but i've checked and quadruple checked and matched output by viewing active filtering, but nothing is being blocked.
