I've still got my k750i and G1 just sitting there. Going to get a sensation or GSII this summer, and i don't think I can bring myself to sell my nexus one either...

does anyone else have this stupid attachment to electronics?

Selling my old/current tech is what allows me to frequently upgrade to newer and better toys.

i was going to keep my old iphones and use them for different tasks, but then i found a sucker to buy them for $400. old 3G and water damaged 3GS. used the money to buy an ipad 2. dual core CPU, killer GPU and 64GB of storage along with wifi n instead of slow g on the old iphones

I still have my old Razr2 and trusty E815 around (great phones, but software horribly crippled and ruined by VZW). I also have my Samsung Wafer as well, that thing is just too cute to get rid of. Smallest cell phone ever made AFAIK.

I have at least 25 phones and BBs around. I tend to keep the decent stuff, give away the semi-decent stuff to kids who tend to lose their phones and I also keep the old unique stuff like the original razrs and stuff.

I keep one phone for failover if I need to. Right now, thats an Env2. Need to pick a cheap Vortex or some other lower Android phone to still have a decent back up I guess.

It's not worth the hassle for me. I also don't believe in covers for my phone so the outside tends to get pretty banged up.

I have three Nokias here that I no longer use. Two E-series and one N-series. All perfectly working smartphones.

I'll be keeping my Nexus One for years to come, and if it ever dies i'll be mounting it in a display case. I wouldn't sell it for any amount of money :)

I sell them if they keep a decent value. If they aren't worth that much when I'm done with them, I just keep it.

I have hoarding tendencies, especially with electronics, so I try to sell, donate or dispose of all old items as soon as possible.

I also try to collect working one-off electronics that I clean up and donate to the needy.

My two minds are always at war.

i've sold every phone i've ever owned after using it. wtf is the point of keeping it after you use it? normally the price you fetch for one on ebay will allow you to get a new phone on contract.

death to clutter- i don't have enough room in my house to store all my old electronics.

Yes. The only time I've sold stuff was when I drowned my K750 and needed to fund my next phone (as a poor college student) and sold my iPod 4G.

But otherwise, I have a W810i, N82, Motorola Milestone sitting here. The latter 2 are smartphones that AT&T don't recognize as ones, so I'm keeping them so I can plug my SIM in and tell them to take me off the smartphone plan :D

Well the AT&T system may be smarter now, but I know people have been able to use the $15 data plan on smartphones by switching to a crap phone first and then switching back. AT&T doesn't recognize the IMEI for certain unlocked phones. Sometimes you can be lucky after you switch back to your smartphone that the AT&T sweep won't catch you. My friend's still running smooth on his N1 for $15/month unlimited MediaNet since last year.
