why cant i access some sites??????

like yahoo auto and some parts of real estate. also when i go to abcnews the ads on the side show as broken links. anybody know whats up? i recently installed XP pro with all the updates, kazaa lite, jsee, adaware, aim+, and splinter cell demo (which doesnt run on my ati 7500 )

quirky, I don't have an answer for you about why some sites work and others don't; but the Splinter Cell demo works on my ATi 64MB VIVO card which is basically a 7200, try the SC official forum for some assistance.

try running ping or tracert from the command prompt in startmenu>Accessories.
If you cant ping them it's either your FW or ISP. Try changing your conneciton to not use XP's built in firewall, although i doubt this is blocking it.
