Why cant anyone in aim send me files

I was going to suggest firewall.

I cannot recieve files from any sort of IM program, IRC etc. The only sort of program that works for me is FTP. Its my damn firewall, but I'm going to keep the walls up..

I also have problems sending and recieveing files with my IM (ICQ). its because I'm behind a firewall, but I can't do anything about it, so oh well.

Darn I turned off the built in firewall and its not working still..

this is sucking
