oh sheesh, people... stop making fun of others who may not be able to control their weight.... it's a good idea for those who can't.

90% of the time it's due to high intake and lack of excercise. I'm laughing at those 90%. Really hard.

I read an article in the local paper about 6 months ago about something like this. There's a whole industry springing up to make furniture/etc for overweight people. Normal couches/etc aren't built to support their weight, so people are starting companies that make furniture that can handle it.

It sounds crazy, but I can see that being a lucrative business in 10 years.

Probably true. Sad but true. But hey, if someone can profit off of the sheer laziness of people, then good for them.

I may be 6'5" and weigh under 200lbs...but I'm ordering one pronto. Give me a pillow and I'll fall asleep on that bad boy.

Mount it in front of your computer with a minifridge and you could stay there for weeks.

This sounds like the greatest idea ever.

Finally, GJ has added a second SET OF ANCHORS at the front sides of the base to increase protection against movement of the unit from the floor.

hahahahaha

now for another company to come along and provide anchors to prevent movement of your house from the foundation

if they make a $300 model (big seat, but only has to hold 220lbs, not 1000), i'm buying one.
