Why bottleshop employees/bouncers suddenly stop asking for ID?

And not just at my local pubs/bottlos...

I'm not talking clubs (where you get asked even if you've got a grey beard and a zimmer frame), but just about anywhere else you'd get asked for proof of age.

It happened at about the same age to most of my friends (both male and female), but were convinced that most of us (especially the girls) don't look that much older/more mature...

thoughts?

Hmm, at liquorstores, they never ask me for ID, & people always think i look younger than i am.

I haven't been asked since.. well ever actually. But I'm pretty scruffy for a 19 year old and I live in Canada.. so I'm actually legal now.

I have however, been going to bars since I was 16.

You must be talking about MA then.. 😛 The laws here are indeed medieval and draconian.

PS. FYI, walking over railroad tracks (on foot, in the woods), can net you a good $50 fine. Don't even ask me how I found out about that. 🙁
