I didn't read it but from my previous experience its a Danish idea and its based on a Danish King who had a dead tooth so it turned blue.

I read the story before - very interesting backstory. Definitely not what I expected the origin story for it to be... I always thought the symbol was an antenna and the name arbitrary until I looked it up.
