The only part of that I can argue with is M. Night Shamalamadingdong doing anything good after The Sixth Sense. Unbreakable was barely watchable, Signs was a decent first 30 minutes before devolving into pure dreck and everything since then has been complete garbage.

When he ran out of original ideas he started taking cues from all the other Stupid Comedy directors and writers, and he's too damn good to be doing that.

Clerks II, and Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back are both intended as comedies, not as some drawn out drama with well developed characters and deep meaningful dialogue. As comedies, both were outstanding, and are often found in lists of top 100 comedies.

I'd think that if you can get on a list of the top 100 movies in your genre, considering the vast number of movies ever made, that you're doing a pretty good job.
