Why ask me what I want on my burger if you're gonna give me whatever anyway?

So I got to Sonic to get some late-night eats. If you don't know what Sonic is, too bad. Google it.

I pull up to one of the ordering boxes and order.

I specifically requested a #4. I was asked "Mayo or Mustard?" I specified Mayo.

The Serving Wench brings out my order and says "Blahblahblah!! Ketchup/salt/pepper in the bag!"

Being the "extra ketchup" type, I ask for extra ketchup as I pay for my order, giving her a $2.50 tip on a $7.00 order; I remember what it's like to work for tips!!

I get back and commence to munching. My burger has MUSTARD, not Mayo as I specifically specified.

AND there's NO Salt nor Pepper in the bag, AND the "extra ketchup" she threw in the bag turned out to be the ONLY ketchup in there.

Little bitch! I feel like going back and getting my tip back! I am a dissatisfied customer.

Feel free to comment...like you'll hold back. :p

I know what Sonic is - obviously you don't.

Rule 1 - no tip till you check out food
Rule 2 - always follow rule 1

You should have gotten up and rubbed her face in it, then told her to get back in the kitchen and make it right. And bring you a beer.

Sonic is a drive thru only, they have tables outside but no inside counter/seating. Most folks order at one of the driveup boxes and either eat there or drive away w/it.

So are you still at Sonic as you post this?

And wtf are you doing tipping $2.50 to someone who works at Sonic? Well, you probably made their day at least...

I don't understand people who tip the pizza delivery people either. My roomate would give them like 3 bucks extra.

I'm not stingy, and I'll give 5 bucks by myself if I feel the service was worth it, but it never tip at a fast food place.

If you have pizza delivered from the same place several times, you will notice the delivery times get longer and longer as you don't tip.

I'm a manager at a pizza place and deliver often, even did so tonight. Tipping is more a point in that than any other service. With all the old people around here it can get dangerous driving on the road, and you wear our the car doing that all the time.

We don't have Sonic here in the urbs of LA... but I did go to one in Phoenix a few months back, multiple times. Their Chili Pie is freaking amazing, and there is tons of other good stuff there. I never did once tip, does a person really deserve a tip for walking ten feet? And I do tip the pizza guy, and I generally tip a good 20% at restaurants.
