Why arn't my new keyboards and mice working proporly

ok, I just bought a pair of logitech usb mice and keyboards. when i plug them in and boot up, they dont work, even with legacy usb support on. now when i plug them into the ps/2 port witht eh adaptors or if i plug another keyboard and mouse in the ps/2 ports they work.



any ideas here?

I've had some similar issues with IBM thinkpads and usb mice. Sometimes they just dont work.
 
That's weired! Although there might be an option in the BIOS about disabling the PS2 port first to make the USB mouse and keyboard working. On other mobo, there is an option if you are using a USB keyboard to be detected during boot time.

With your situation now, can you boot with a PS2 KB and Mouse and install the USB version then unplug the PS2 KB and mouse leaving the USB version working?😕
