Why aren't some of my programs starting up?

Ok, so I went on an overclocking venture, decided to stick at 2.5 Ghz (prime 95 stable)...

Well, since I had those instances where your computer doesn't boot up right, I had to shut it down improperly and boot up again...

Now, my other stability tester (OCCT) and a few of my games, when I click on it, it doesn't start the program whatsoever.. I've tried reinstallations but they don't work... how do I fix this?

Maybe de-overclock into something "more" stable. Although 2.5Ghz for you might be prime 95 stable, your other programs might not think so. If they still don't start at lets say 2.3Ghz or something like that, you can put it back up to 2.5Ghz and try trouble shooting with something else.
