The Price of Gasoline ?

Clinton NEVER got a pass when the prices went up, but with our new 'Iraq Rescorce',
we are at a national all time high price, and it just keeps going up - without the bitching.

Gas is still relatively cheap. Americans are very very spolied RE the price of fuel.

Thats because its Cali.

The national Avg is around $1.60. Not to far off lowest prices ever, when adjusting for inflation. Adjusted for inflation $1.27 is a record low.

Compared to the rest of the world, our prices are extreme bargins.

Why is gas so expensive in calif anyway? I saw that it's really expensive in Las Vegas also. I don't understand what sort of local disadvantage california must have that makes their gas more expensive.

Probably because the liberals are too busy complaining about everything else wrong in the world and are too busy shifting the blame around that they just can't keep up so much complaining. However, it wouldn't surprise me if we were to find some liberals start blaming this on Bush too.

Found this off of google.

California has always had its own rules when it comes to the economics of gasoline.

For starters, consumers have always had to pay higher state and local taxes on gas. Mainly though, production costs are higher here. Most of the state's supplies come from refineries in the West because of California's strict environmental rules on gasoline inputs.
