Why aren't Creative drivers WHQL certified?

Everytime I update/ reinstall drivers for my X-fi it says they are not WHQL certified. I get the occasional crash here there playing games, and just a few minutes ago I was watching movie in WMP and bluescreened with IRQL not less or equal. Every other driver I have installed is WHQL certified so it must be Creative drivers causing the problem....whats the deal?

Chances are its Creative not takiong the time to submit them. Just because they are not certifed doesn't mean they will/are causing the problem. It may not be a driver issue it may be a hardware issue. But i would try and reinstall the drivers. If you are still having problems then go back to a previous version of the drivers. Also have a look in the device manager and make sure there isn't another peice of hardware trying to use the same IRQ as the sound card.
