No, it's called not noticing it until someone pointed it out to me. I don't hover over threads looking for a mod quote. And no, I don't think it was an appropriate response either. AT mods at one time used to tell us what was going on. They used to tell us when we've crossed the line so we'd be able to avoid crossing that line in the future. But it seems that every once in a while a mod applies unknown rules and leaves the rest of us going "huh?" If no threads with sexual content will be allowed, just say so. There was nothing bad or even R rated about the threads that were locked yesterday. True, both were blatant attempts at getting attention, but so are 90% of the posts on OT. Plus, the initial poster was someone claiming to be female, but a bunch of us had doubts. So what? And if it was because the mods knew something about him/her, and that's why they were locked, it wouldn't kill us to know that too.
