Hey, i have like a dozen of these 2.5 inch laptop HDs. They are about 30%-40% thicker than a regualare notebook HD. (like something out of an HP omnibook.) They are in 4gb of size. My question why are they thicker, and will the be compatible with HD enclosure cases? (Doesnt phsyically fit in mine.)
Thanks.

Some older laptop hd's are 12.5mm instead of 9.5 mm like all the newer ones are. They should work with the interface of your enclosure (if you can remove it), they just won't likely fit in the actual enclosure.

HD checks are okay. Price checks are not. ;)

Check completed eBay listings. :)
