Why are there so many "cheating" YAGT's?

Seems like everyone's getting cheated on left and right. Do people not have any self control anymore?

First we've got that "should I feel guilty for hanging out w/ my friend while gf's not around"

Then.."my roommate cheated on his gf who's out of the country"

Next.."i cheated on my gf w/ my close friend.."

Now.."My gf played me..I need revenge".


Geez...so many cheaters out there. At least I don't feel so left out anymore (being cheated on, that is)...bleh.

Noone ever posts YAGT: All is well and the relationship's moving along smoothly.

Remember, in a forum with 100,000 users, there's going to be someone whos GF or BF is messing around with someone else.

When you spend more time on the interweb than with your gf, she will probably look elsewhere for satisfaction.

As someone who has cheated before and has been cheated on, I have to say that cheating is the stupidest thing ever. If you don't want to be in a relationship with someone, just don't be in it. Theres nothing wrong with wanting to 'date' several girls/guys at the same time just as long as you are up front with the fact that there is no kind of serious thing going on. The sooner people get this through their head, the better.

I think a lot of the people who cheat are in relationships for their own benefit, like for the validation of it all. If you can't be honest with yourself and have the willpower to not get in a relationship when you don't want one, then you're an asshole because you give the rest of your gender a bad name when you mess around and get caught. How hard is it to make it clear after a certain point that you're not interested in a serious relationship at that point in time? Just be up front about it. If the other person doesn't like it if he/she sees you with someone else, then its their problem because you were honest from the beginning.

Well it depends on what you mean by a playa. Sure every guy wants to go and have fun and not get tied down, but I think theres a lot of weak willed guys who get into relationships because its the 'right' (as in socially acceptable) thing to do, when in reality they don't really want to be in one and because of that its definately the WRONG thing to do.

There ain't nothin wrong with bein a player, just as long as you're playing the game as its meant to be played.

Honestly,

In general I wouldn't expect anyone under the age of thirty to be truly monogamous with another person.

Just my Opinion.

its the degredation of society. The number of people who were brought up with morals vs those who were brought up with the "do whats best for me" is beginning to fade. Most people now are just concerned about what will make them feel good at that particular moment. I dont really agree with this way of thinking, but I see it all the time.

You can avoid cheaters and cheating by refusing to play the game. You can't cheat or be cheated on in a game you're not playing.

I'd say there's many fewer true "playas" than there are people who wish they could be playas, and then when confronted with the situation either realize that a) it's not what they wanted, or b) get scared and run away.

Just like with most everything else, the ones that talk the loudest generally play the least.

It isn't cheating unless you are married and have signed the contract. Anything else is just normal human behaviour.
