Why are there no Samsung IPS monitors?

Seems strange that Samsung doesn't have an IPS monitor given that they are one of the biggest display manufacturers in the world?

All I hear about is the Dell and HP IPS monitors, and Asus and LG have started in this area not too long ago. Am I missing something?
 
Samsung used to use VA panels instead, they have higher contrast ratios than IPS panels and tend to have less grainy anti-glare coatings.
Now they have their PLS panels (which are similar to IPS and a direct competitor) to compete with LG made IPS panels.
