What do you need drivers for?! It's a monitor it's plug and play.

Exactly, why do you need drivers for the monitor? I honestly can't remember the last time I needed drivers for a monitor.

Monitors don't have drivers. What they normally do have is an .inf file that just tells Windows what resolutions and refresh rates are supported so you don't choose one the monitor is not capable of. The .inf file is not needed.

no they didnt come on the cd, only an extended instruction manuel. i downloaded and installed the e151fp drivers but the wierd thing is that when i went to update the drivers, i had to force windows to use the e151fp drivers and it wouldnt selected it when i told it to search the directory where i put them.

The drivers are really just an inf file that contains the resolutions and refresh rates supported by that monitor; you will probably not get much change in your display, but I agree that it is nice to have them installed. I did.
