Why are the mods so hardcore?

Just out of curiosity, do your orders come from the top? Or do you simply lock ANYTHING you dont personally like?

I just like to know....
 
It is common knowledge that the MOD's are volunteers, and from the size of this message board they seem to do an outstanding job keeping things in order. What's the basis of your "rant"?

Ive posted in two threads in the last week which were locked and I just didnt see why, especially when they let this offensively titled thread stay.

PS- Mods, I know you have a hard job... I know.. 🙂

Sounds to me that what you really have is a question as to why your threads were locked. Why not pm them and ask. 🙂

They do have a lot to moderate, and they can't catch everything. They do a very good job. 🙂
 
The mods have started to become total dicks. Weather it is just one mod or not, it looks bad on them all, so as far as I am concerned, they are dicks. They used to be much much better, now they have gotten crappier and crappier. There was no reason to give nik a vacation, there was no reason to ban st@b, there was no reason to leave horrable threads open, while locking the threads (without explanation, or leaving a screwed up answer such as "You want a reason. Well you can't handle the reason." )

The mods have gone way down hill, and I am seeing it in the new members too. Some mods need to be fired. As far as I am concerned, they all need to be fired.

Notice I am not posting from behind a different name or nic, which would be extreamly possable, and no oone here could tell the difference. I do it from this account because i HOPE that coming from me it will mean more than some schmuck, and worth more than a "screw you" answer. If an answer at all.

Many of the long time members here are getting fed up. We have been looking for Anand's address so we may send him a letter about how his Mods are acting, but we have been unable to find a 100% correct address. When we find one, at least 15 letters from different members are going to show up in his mailbox about the crap the Mods pull.
