I've never had problems with the speed of the forums up until recently. Has traffic significantly increased? I have a cable modem at my home and I'm posting from a T1 line at school right now and it's slow at both places, I can't imagine how slow it is for someone using dialup. Is there a Bandwidth problem on the AT server or something? this is just a concern of mine, maybe it's just where I am located that is giving me the speed troubles, or maybe it's the amount of data that I'm trying to pass through my modem, I have 100 topics showing as a preference. So is it just me or have they acctually slowed down?
Please confine this to the multiple other threads currently available on this very subject. The quick answer is that we (the mods) don't know why it is so slow, but it is just as slow for us, and someone is working on a solution.
