why are some people so bad at talking online?

specifically on chats. i swear, the people that say something like:

"hi how are you."
"im good. whats up."
"haha thats funny."

and consider that to be something that's interesting and worth reading need to be given a severe beating. there are fewer things more irritating than someone who talks like that online, especially when you know they're intelligent and interesting to speak with in real life. is it so fvcking hard to write? is speaking such an enormous challenge to them that if given the chance they'll sluff off into 2nd grade language? it really makes me appreciate the people who can write readable sentences on the fly. goddamn. :|

I think most monitor manufacturers explicitly recommend against doing that.

Why are people so bad at starting topics, I swear I saw a topic where the OP was like-

specifically on chats. i swear, the people that say something like:
