hotchic put it gently: "She'll probably be pissed that he told you her weight." the girl in question is 5'2", 143 lbs. with those dimensions, she is going to be a visibly bigger girl. so why would she (or any other girl) care if the amount of pounds she weighed was known? it's not like she can give the illusion of weighing 113 lb. if hotchic weighed 150lbs but still looked the way she did, would she be embarrassed to say it? probably not, because she'd still look like she weighs 110 lbs. the point is this: if you're a girl, unless you wear a burlap sack everywhere, everyone can see your body and can probably guess your weight within 10 lbs. but by itself, the actual value of your weight means nothing. no one cares about the number of lbs you weigh, and if you're 5'2" and weigh 143 lbs, people won't assume you weigh 107 lbs just because they haven't seen you on a scale. so please, lighten up when it comes to getting defensive about the numerical value describing your weight. it's not as big a secret as you think it is, and if you take care of yourself, no one would care if you weigh 243 lbs as long as it's healthy.
