Browsing through eBay, I found some very modern musics on LP's such as Jay Z, ATC, Madonna and Mystikal.

Whats the point of releasing R&B House/Trance in vinyl LP's these days?

Because that's what real DJs still use. :)

It just sounds like crap. There is no way to get a CD player to perform like vinyl when scratching.

tube amp in my room is big no-no. At the luckiest filaments will get prematurely due to the fact I'll probably forget to turn it off all the time and most likely if I'll probably carelessly break it with a basketball or something.

Cause some people are afraid to use new, improved technology. The same people who are afraid of computers or still ask for Windows 95 (they don't use anything newer just yet) on 160K disks. They'll say old is better, most likely they're just deaf.

Vinyl still sells well over in Europe. The music store I frequented in Seattle used to import a lot of LP's of new stuff that was not normally available, domestically.

I still buy vinyl for DJing purpose as per the reasons stated in my above post. I also own over 700 CDs just for my musical enjoyment. Just because technology is new does not mean it is always better. If I was just listening to music and not doing any DJing I would not own vinyl unless it was something I found strictly for collectors sake. I also personally believe that we need something better than CDs. A mini CD that was actually DVD format could hold more music than current CDs and be smaller and more convenient.

Bah, vinyl takes up too much room and the discs can warp if you don't store them right. Some audiophiles like vinyl because they produce a high level of harmonic distortion and this can sound pleasing and "rich" to some ears.

But if you are DJ'ing, vinyl serves you well because of its hands-on access.

I can understand why people would use LPs for DJing, because it would be more convenient, but IMHO LPs sound like 32kbps MP3s. Maybe I just can't appreciate the "quality" that is there, but to me CDs sound a lot better.

I personally prefer vinyl because it has a "warmer" sound. A CD may be more faithful to the original technically speaking, but it is much harsher than vinyl. Also, properly maintained vinyl does not pop, skip, scratch, click or have tracking distortion. A CD played on a high-quality system sounds different than a well maintained LP played on a high-quality turntable, but the CD does not sound better. To be fair though, LP's do require a lot more care than CD's, and you need to spend more money on the equipment to get good sound. Most people have not heard well preserved LP's played on a good system, and that, I believe, is the reason that most people automatically assume that LP's are inferior.
