I think evolution made men to need adversity and to be in an environment with physical threats and challenges.

Men of the first world shot themselves in the foot because they worked so long and hard to create a world which leaves them so unsatisfied.

I think this is why there is such a fixation on zombie apocalypse scenarios and other such things.

Via's post, with reference to "horrible ingredients" and whatnot, implied more than what you're talking about. Otherwise you could define any baked goods as "processed", whether made by Hostess or your under the loving care of your grandmother. Why would you make that stipulation that people don't eat a lot of meat? The South of full of fatties that gorge themselves on red meat and chicken wings.

lol sure you did

Why are you such a food industry apologist? Do you work in it?

Wait a minute... since when have women liked fat guys? I've found that women that prefer heavier-set guys is much more rare than women that profess to like lean men.

Anyway, I'd probably place the most blame on sweets. Damn, some of those sweets are really fucking good, but holy shit, they are really unhealthy! I look at some of the things that I used to eat such as Chewy Chips Ahoy!, and I pretty much look like this  when I read the nutrition labels. You know it's not good when they have maybe ~100-150 calories per serving and the serving size is only a few cookies. Those things are so small, I could eat rows of them. :$

It's not only sweets though. It's really easy to miss how unhealthy normal items are.

If you know anything about physiology, you'd know that it is easier for a man to have lower bodyfat due to muscles burning fat easier

The fact that men typically have lower body fat levels than women has nothing to do the rate of obesity of one vs. the other.

and yet there are more fat men than women, according to any statistics you can look up.

But is the difference significant? A couple of percentage points, at most. From what I can find, the rate at which obesity levels are increasing is currently greater for women. So they'll catch up soon enough.
