Edit: It is listed as an E2201, and according to this thread, it is supported in Ubuntu 13.10 and newer, so should be supported in Mint 17.2.

Another ideal budget mobo. It has the traces for an M.2 slot, but it's not populated. Sigh. 🙁

That's what I'd get if I were to upgrade. DP, HDMI, DVI(-D?), VGA, 3xUSB 3.0, 2x16 PCIe, M.2, Intel NIC, and 4 RAM slots, for <$100.

There will be good $75ish boards, but they always take some time to come out, or take some time to get down in price. Skylake still hasn't displaced Haswell. If you want it now, $90-120 is a good range. For now, the cheaper ones are too cut-down.
