Why are Repubs so Worried about Mexicans?

Repubs seem so worried that the Mexicans will eventually become the majority, rather than just a minority. Always talking about some make-believe fence at the border every election year, even though it will never happen. So what if Mexicans become the majority of America? Almost all of the Mexicans are settling down in the 4 border states. In terms of altering the results of an election, let's see here, California will always be Dem territory, Texas will probably continue being Repub territory. So, what's left? Arizona and New Mexico may go Dem in the presidential elections? Really? Are Repubs that wooried over Mexicans because 2 measly states may go Dem?

They're not just worried about Mexicans; that's why the Republicans are so set on a security fence for the Canadian border...

Yeah why should we be worried about failing to enforce our own laws and importing a foreign country's poverty (and the all the social problems that come with poverty) who end up being subsidized by taxpayers? The irony of the situation is that the lower income working class Americans who the Dems claim are their base are the ones that are hurt the most by illegal immigration.

Why were the Natives so worried about the Europeans?

It's a matter of culture, of the fabric of society. We want ours to grow and remain dominant over our own country, our own land, our own home. This is our country and it is being invaded by the 10s of millions.

New majorities of foreign born, Spanish speaking non US citizens are taking over communities, towns, counties, and soon to be states. States are literally being lost to those who are not American.

Those who aid them insist on downplaying it, telling us it's no big deal. You question why we care about our country, our culture, our language. You act as if it has no meaning to you. For us it is the loss of those things which matter, for you it's no big deal.

To put it in perspective, we would have NEGATIVE population growth except for immigration. ALL our population growth is from non Americans. 15 million in the past decade. That's equal to 3 of my states being added. That's a pretty big deal.

That seems like the LEAST reasonable objection to illegal immigration (for that matter, it's really an objection to immigration at all). There are plenty of reasons that illegal immigration is a concern outside of things that sound like you picked them up at a Klan rally.

Uh, it's not about "Mexicans" no matter how much the libs want to keep claiming it is. Sheesh.

Judging by some of the commentary surrounding the issue, it sure as hell is for some people. While the problems surrounding illegal immigration are usually the first ones mentioned, a significant portion of the discussion sounds like objections to ANY kind of substantial immigration, whether legal or illegal.

Canadians are not a burden to our courts, healthcare system and on our roads. Illegal Mexicans are burdens to them all. A pregnant woman hops a fence, drops her kid and we now can't get rid of her. Getting rid of birthright citizenship would go a long way towards solving the problem. The U.S. is one of only two developed countries that still allow it.

That website is an example of what I was talking about. Rather than being opposed to illegal immigration, it seems like they're opposed to ALL immigration above a certain amount.

Those are all minor burdens and Canadians participate in those too. However, Canadians are a major burden on things such as culture.

What about the problem of not being able to deport people with generations of roots here merely because their ancestors were born here 100 years ago? Maybe the US can be the first developed nation to have a new and radical way of thinking of citizenship.

Minor burdens? Say that to California.

...and thats old info.

That's not even only about Mexican illegal immigrants.

However, Canadians attack the very idea and existence of America itself. They are a historic enemy against the very idea of America itself. Mexican culture is very compatible with American culture, and have a long history within the United States. That's not something you can quantify.

Contrary to your delusions, there is no Monarchist Canadian Conspiracy against the United States.

My mention of the Canadian border fence was merely to note the cognitive dissonance on border security within the Secure Borders fanatics.

It must suck to not be able to delve into the deeper meaning of things.
