When i meant "certain fields of technology", i meant the internet.Again, you're getting it wrong. It helped, but DID not develop or force any new technology as guyver and capt. whatever keep trying to impose.

Don't really see how I'm getting it wrong. You stated earlier that "porn helped certain fields of technology", then later posted that, "porn does not evolve science or technology".

Some definitions of evolve, just for shits and giggles:

to develop gradually or to come forth gradually into being (source)

For more shits and giggles, what you said at one point:
the adult entertainment industry did a lot for certain things, and it helped pioneer certain "features" or "advancements" that we see today

So then, by your logic, the adult entertainment industry helped some features/advancements to come forth or develop into modern society. Is that right, or am I missing something?

I think I am going to hit a 24hr supermarket and find me a strawberry cheesecake. Won't be the good fresh ones, but beggars can't be choosers.

Yeah. I figure mediocre cheesecake is better than no cheesecake at all.

goto any porn store and hang out for a couple hours. Business is booming. If anything the internet has opened the world of porn up to a much much broader audience.

Walmart actually has some decent cheesecake in their bakery department...

This thread is now about cheesecake..

That's where I just went, one of the Neighborhood Wal Mart stores.
Got a 2 slice pack (one strawberry and one chocolate).
I'll be nice and save the other one for my wife. :)

He just doesn't want to be wrong.
It's understandable.
I was that way at his age, I just didn't have the rage to go with it.

To be fair everyone else in this thead is just as bad. The argument started with..

also... many technology advances came as a result of porn..

VHS..
The Internet..
High Speed Internet..
DVD..
BluRay..
3-D..
Interactive Holograms..
I dont think any of those came about as a result of porn, porn was certainly responsible for popularising some of them, and arguably driving inprovements in some but none were made specifically for porn.

I don't pay for porn myself, but doing so doesn't sound that crazy to me. Most porn is pretty terrible. If you find a porn site you like, why not pay a few dollars to get easy access to more?
