Why are people attracted to bad?

I think is strange that humans in general are always more attracted to bad behaviors or habits than to good ones. Like in junior/high school being "bad" is always cooler than the kid who is smart doesn't drink/smoke and get good grades. Most people are interested in pornography, drugs, gossip, etc.
It seems that the "wrong" is usually more attractive than what is "right".

Another related question....why pornography is bad? I mean playboy type of thing and not hardcore pornography like gangbangs, S&M, etc.

It isn't. Not even the "hardcore" stuff, the gangbangs, fetishes, S&M, etc. Uptight Christian fundamentalists would probably disagree with me, however.

Porn is bad. Is not only about religious views. I remembered reading an article in the paper about sociologist saying that it gives men a misconception about women and sexuality and how addiction from it escalades from magazines to daily hookers and other consequences. They also said pornography is sort of like a drug in that every time you need something more shocking to satisfy you. This last statement is true. I am wondering why.
