Why are Muslims allowed to block the streets and pray in Paris when it is illegal?

Why are the cops ignoring it? Would they do the same for other religions? If not, why? I personally do not think Muslims, Christians or any other religion or group should be allowed to do this, totally BS. Imaging living around there and having to deal with that every time.

Because 'tolerance' in western countries is being exploited and turned into softness/stupidity by nutjobs.

If that was broken up you would have riots. And Muslim leaders would complain of discrimination since 'minority' = always oppressed somehow in Western culture nowadays. That would lead to more riots. So its easier for our 'strong' leaders of the West to just ignore that and instead crack down on Christians if they tried to pray in public.

Meanwhile in Mecca or most any Muslim majority country...Heads would roll if any non-muslim minority group pulled this stunt. But like Saddam they just dont know what they are doing since they have not been blessed by Democracy yet [or something along the lines, been awhile since I watched Fox news].

Because Islam is the law of God and is above all secular law. Also you will get your head cut off.

Well, is this such a big deal? I have heard they do this some places in New York City. Is this any different from blocking off the streets for a block party, or a chili Cook-Off? As long as they leave a few streets open for traffick, I could live with this. In some cities they block of side streets to thru traffick. Maybe the people in Paris need to catch a bus or a train.

Remember that huge thread we had here, on that preacher holding meetings in his house.
No parking can bring out the worst in people. ;)

Ah, another "religious states have less freedoms that we do, and we should be like them" argument. No, we should be different from them in the ways they're bad.

If they're just randomly going onto streets and blocking traffic because its prayer time then they should be fined/hauled off to jail. If they're blocking walking traffic, then they need to move.

And the "Islam is the same as everything else" relativists strike again!

I think if you keep it up, you might sway somebody some day.

Actually when 80% of a liberal place like New York doesnt want a Mosque to be built, you know your BS is falling on deaf ears.

It is interesting how for some people, killing a thousand by military measures - bombs, troops - is less an issue than killing one by beheading.

I always wonder about that too.

You see the terrorist don't have the bombs to bomb NYC or they would kill thousands bu military measures. And then what would you two bitch about?? Not being "tough enough" on them most likely.

I have no problem with bombing the shit out of terrorists in Afghanistan or any other place we know they are.

So you're saying that deaths which occur during military operations are the same as say, kidnapping a journalist, holding him hostage, then cutting off his head (not lopping, but sawing through) while he is awake, is the same thing?
