Why are men expected to put the seat down?

I was talking about folks who sit down on a toilet with both lids up and then complain (because they were too stupid to check)

People who go for a dip in the pot deserve ridicule. Doubly so if they blame it on someone else.

Kids who look at everything but what they're doing, both hands on hips, and bounce their stream off the backboard (lid) deserve a beating.

Actually, I sort of like the couch. Gives you the feeling of camping out, but without the bugs and lack of indoor plumbing.
