Why are Jews so hated through history?

I've just been reading up on the middle east conflict and it seems that throughout history the jewish people have really taken a battering.
I'm not educated on Jewish life/religion etc and what I know of them is mainly stereotypes (tight with money, rich, etc etc) and I know enough not to believe all that anyway.

However, Hitler really had something against them, the Romans booted them out of Israel in the first place and ever since the end of WW1 when Britain tried to give them a homeland again, the arabs don't seem to like them much either.

Obviously I've a basic grasp of this, so someone who knows a bit more. Can you explain what it is about the Jews/ jewish beliefs that really pisses other people off?

its because they are in general a succesfull group of people. Hatred and fear are built with stupid, poor, ignorant people, their leaders say"look, they have all the money, the power, you have nothing, its not your fault they lied and cheated tobecome what they are, let us hate them for it."

Where I'm from, it's the chinese that gets hated. There's no jew around.

I agree, it's economic jealousy, religious hatred, and hollow nativism. It can happen to any people group.

He's just joking(I think) Ever been to Miami or Boca Raton? There are a ton of elderly jewish folk living there and many of them are real jerks, but that's mostly just because they're old and grouchy as oppossed to being a ethnic thing.

you know, the "cultists" do not have to participate. they have the freedom to leave whenever they want to. you know, our government prevents us from getting food that doesn't meet certain standards as well. it's not a religion, but just curious if you have something against the government as well.

nationalism. in mein kampf hitler lays out that jews are a seperate nationality from germans, hence the germans can't be as good (better than) the "pure" french until they were pure as well. freud saw it as anger management within a population. after WWI he decided that aggression was as much a human motivator as lust, and went back through ages finding "scapegoating" on all sorts of populations, not just jews.

well, first the romans boot them out of their homeland, making them stateless. then they lose the fight for religious hegemony
to christianity (they would also lose to islam as well). stateless, ostracized and ghettoized, second class citizens in a growing
christian empire, resistant to conversion, perceived as stubborn heretics, suffering numerous acts of legal discrimination,
pogroms begin, etc. it just worst from there.

When you make your own religion that lasts for 3000 years, then you'll do it your way. Besides, You dont have a clue what you're talkin' about. No1 forces anyone to dress any way.

To say that you are only supposed to eat foods PREPARED or GROWN under certain standards sure does seem a bit more restrictive to me, and infringes again on rights and personal freedom and choice.

Jews are a smart and economically successful group which other groups envy. Another thing is history, Jews are also perceived to have shunned two major religions that are actually based on Judaism itself, Christianity and Islam. These three religions are so intertwined they should actually be just one religion.

Do you have any idea what you are talking about? I'm sure I'm not expressing it correctly but what you consider to be government edibility and freshness standards are what the Jews built into their religion thousands of years ago to keep their people healthy.
