Why are Jews so hated in the past?

I'm currently reading Exodus by Leon Euris. It's an amazing book that reveals escaping Jews from Cyprus island to Palestine from British detention camps during post-WWII era.

I'm curious as to how tens of millions of Jews got murdered and blamed for all problems. Why Jews?

Crusaders killed Jews because of religious differences right?
Nazis killed Jews only because they didn't have blonde hair and blue eyes or was there more reason?

Nazis killed Jews because they thought the jews were the reason their nation was a pile of dung, not because of WW1. If blonde hair blue eyes was the reason, why didn't thye kill hitler?

A lot of Christians hated Jews because they blamed them for killing Jesus.

The predjudice just escalated from there.
 
The Jews were blaimed for killing Jesus Christ, though if you read the New Testament you should realize that if Jesus hadn't paid the debt of everyone's sin by suffering and dying on the cross that Christianity wouldn't work.

Also, in the Catholic church people weren't allowed to charge interest on loans. If you were Catholic, there was no money to be made in banking. So the Jews took on the role of being bankers and lenders. As a result, the Jewish people have traditionally had more money.

The Nazi's singled out the Jews partly because Hitler was crazy (ethnic purity), but then again they singled out anyone (black, asian, etc) who wasn't aryan. The rest of the Nazi party went along with Hitler because they knew that they could take the Jew's money and property, and use it to feed the German people and fund the war.

As far as the Crusades go... I always thought that the Crusaders were fighting against Muslems.

That is so stupid. What defines Christians is that Christ came to earth as God's son to DIE for us. He came. to. die. What an oxymoron.

The practice was called "usury" at the time and was looked down upon by the Christians with much distrust, suspicion and a bit of envy because of the financial power this garnered them. IIRC, this is the main root of anti-Semitism in Europe.

The simple fact is that if there was no religion, there wouldn't be any wars.

Go ahead and argue, but you can't. If the population of earth became advanced enough to accept the truth of no God as is written in the bible, then they would be advanced enough to know that murder and war is no the answer.
