Why are Japanese men so sexually frustrated??

Seriously, what the hell is going on over there? Is it because all the hot women are sleeping with gaijin? Is it the whole penis size thing?

OR is it just media sensationalism and stereotyping and are 99% of the men there normal?
I'm not sure about this--I feel like I've been exposed to Japanese sexual perversion/frustration for quite some time:
- Groping in subways.
- Japanese men dressing up as babies in diapers on variety shows.
- The whole penis worship festival with big wooden penis-floats.
- The fact that softcore pr0n and skin are shown in TV/print all the time, but real pr0n is pixellated.
- Fascination with pre-pubescent girls or girls in school uniforms (not hot uniforms like Catholic schoolgirls here, who are older.)
- That picture with the Japanese guys all cuddling with their manga-girl full-size pillows.
- Geisha culture and its disappearance.

Is there some horribly askew male/female ratio in Japan, or some other societal factor contributing to this? Or are Japanese men not having enough sex?

I have wondered this very same thing. I don't know if it's media bias, stereotyping or what but it seems they have an awful lot of sexual perversion that even surpasses the U.S. which is pretty damn screwed up in its own right!

They had a special on just that topic on I think either the Learning Channel or Discovery once. I forget what it was that they listed as the main reasons for the fairly horrendous dating scene, but I think it was a mixture of male/female ratio, men living with their mothers/parents for extended periods of time, and fairly stringent work schedules.

I'm missing a lot, but that's what I can sort of remember at the moment.

Ok, now I can read it. Reminds me of when I worked for a large paging company years ago. The female employees that took the text messages to transmit to the pagers (before cell phones and texting were so ubiquitous), would often tell me of guys calling and leaving sexually explicit messages just to hear the operator repeat them as she was supposed to do for accuracy of all messages. That was right here in the good ole USA.

I don't think that's it. Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese men don't seem to be as sexually frustrated--I don't see these elements in their culture. Of course, I've never been to the far east though.

IMO... (don't kill me... ) Vietnamese are worried about making enough money to support their family in such instead of wasting their money on entertainment which is not really a necessity to them which costs money... Then when they have a surplus they save up.

That's my opinion at least. Since a lot of Vietnamese people tend to be stingy & cheap (unless they found a good way to make a comfortable/wealthy income).
