why are houses in NJ so retarded?

As I go through these listings, there is a whole bunch of 4-5 bedroom houses for sale equiped with 1 lousy bathroom? Whatsup with that?

A lot of families will buy a house and as their family expands and the kids grow up, gradually convert more and more rooms into bedrooms. My parent's house, at one point, was 1-bedroom, 2 bath.

By the time I left, there were EIGHT bedrooms.

Older houses didn't have plumbing everywhere. It was expensive and most people realized it just was not necessary.

Alot of older houses have only 1 full bathroom. We had a 50 yr old house with 3 bedrooms, and it had 1 1/2 bathrooms. Our new house has 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. I dont think you can classify an entire state on one house, or even a few houses. Im sure I can find you houses in all 50 states that have 4 or 5 bedrooms and only one bathroom.
