I want it smart, I want to be able to program it all on my PC I don't want have to touch the thermostat itself And I want it cheap <$100. Possible?

Best deal I got was two nest 3's, 250 each and national grid gave me 100 rebate on each.

I manage them from my phone

Looks interesting and can all the weekly programing be done from a Win PC (not phone?)
Through their web site, yes. Phone app, website or in front of it.

You can also set up alerts which you may have no use for. This was a seasonal residence in Florida so it was very important to know that the A/C was running the eight months we weren't there. I could have hired a home watch service but this thermostat allowed me to self monitor for far, far less.

No no no. Please don't hang that hideous thing on your wall. I've had ecobee and nest. They both seem to add a cool feel to the house. That thing looks like something from 1998.

If its functional and works I could care less I ain't paying 100-200 more dollars to make a fashion statement with my thermostat.
