This is not right at all and a sign in my opinion. Why do people not see this? I swear I wish people would pay more attention ot their surroundings.

Being friends with a kid != paedophile.

Grow up.

You mean you can't be nice to kids unless their yours? You at the least owe it to your friend to aknowledge the existance of his kids and be nice to them lol.

I'm not a parent, but if I was, I'd want to know who my kids were hanging out with, so yes, I would want to get to know their friends (and the parents of their friends) a little bit.

Is there a specific example you've seen of this, or are you just spouting off about something stupid again?

His question was:
Why are grown men friends with their friend's kids ?

NOT:
Why are grown men friends with their kid's friends ?

For sure, but the OP isn't saying this. He says that if you have a male adult friend, if he is friendly with your kids then he is some kind of pervert and the situation is completely wrong.:disgust:

Well......why don't you tell us about it? Jesus, getting an intelligent post out of you is like pulling wisdom teeth with no anesthesia.

yeah, I skimmed, misread, so sue me. :)

as to the OP's actual question, wtf are you going to do, be RUDE to your friend's kids? Also, if I really like my friend, then I am probably going to get to know his family.

My mom always cooked for my friends when they stopped by and I wasn't home. Which is good cause usually they were stoned. Bastards usually ate better than I did.

REAL men beat their friend's kids, at least in intim83's warped little world.

When I was a kid, I was friends with my the parents of my friends. So does that mean I was out to molest their parents? You're a fscktard, intim83.

You should probably also be worried if adults are friendly towards their nieces and nephews, or God-children.

I have heard of cases where people tend to freak out over social issues and behaviors that they themselves secretly engage in. Case in point, that guy in Spokane (the mayor, I believe) that fought against equal rights for homosexuals, while meeting people from gay sites for sex, offering them jobs for sex, et cetera. Is there something you're trying to tell us, intim83?

Hmm, I make my post, then he runs away. The plot thickens...

Most of us, with the probable exception of the OP, are very much kids at heart. What a dumn thing to spout about. I was always good friends with my parents friends for as long as I can remember.

My best friend Jon has two kids, a 15 year old son and a 12 year old daughter. I'm friends with both, they jokingly call me "Uncle Ben" because I'm there all the time hanging out with Jon. Both myself and Jon, plus his son are all into gaming, so it makes sense that the three of us hang out together.
