Why are gpu's so much bigger than CPU's

How come the card for a gpu is like 10x larger than the cpu?

Or is the mobo basically the "card" for the cpu?

PCB doesnt matter.

Its die size that counts, and die size is about the same for CPU and GPU.

a video card is not a gpu. the die is the gpu. the card you see is, like you said, the "mobo" for the gpu.
