Why are euro interest rates so low? ~2% or lower

Can anyone explain that to me? I see they are around 2% or even lower??
 
Er.. the Queen uses sterling pounds.. not euros.

Anyways, that got me thinking... BUY RENTAL PROPERTY IN EUROPE! You can get an ultra cheap (low rate) mortgage and you will get income in Euros! That sounds like a great way to hedge your bets against a falling dollar!!

How could you lose.. esp if the rental income covers most or all of the mortgage?

Lots of European countries have Queens, not just the UK.
