Why are Ericsson mobile phones considered bad?

don't all mobile phones emit the same kind and amount of radiation ? apart from the
different service packages and maybe one or two varying gizmos, the core technology
is the same. ericssons are awesome, more so overseas, where in some countries mobile
phones have nearly taken the place of land lines.

Not at all! Every phone is different and it depends on the conditions. Their signal is only as strong as it needs to be for good reception. There are charts of different phones max radiation levels. After doing extensive research I have determined that Nokia phones put out the most radiation and Motorola phones put out the least. My Motorola StarTac 7868W is one of the lowest radiation phones around today. BTW, the mode (analog/digital) also makes a big difference in radiation levels.

i had an ericsson phone, which busted after about a year. you can read reviews and personal experiences all over the internet about how poor quality they are and how they break after 6 months to a year of use. that's probably why they're considered bad.

not all Ericsson are bad. T28 is bad. I have it and it really sucks a lot. The new T29 is good. That's what I heard from people.

I had an Ericsson for almost two years and never had a problem with it. In fact the reception was much more clear than any Nokia I have used. Sadly teh Ericsson died a watery death and I had to switch. I tried several phones and ended up with a Star Tac, best damn cell phone I've ever used.
