nope, but there is proof that he has called for violence against protesters.

Yeah, the people who got assaulted looked like protesters. You can tell how they were protesters by how they exited through a door and walked away.

Trump brings out the best in everybody, huh?

The last person to act classy during a POTUS election was John McCain when he defended Obama from accusations of being a Muslim. In this election you have Hillary supporters calling Trump everything from a Russian double agent to fascist and Trump supporters calling Hillary everything from a traitor to crook.

that was a statement not an answer.
You do know that in general, the answer to a question is a statement? What did you think it was? Another question? Are we playing by some bizarre Jeopardy rules that I don't know about? Is this a better answer for you?

"What is there are people on both sides doing this?"

Dude, the "freedom-loving" right continuously and every-single-day threatens to go "hunting season" on everyone else over a difference of opinion, so -- in 2 words -- fuck off.

I don't agree with everything you post, Jhhnn, but I have to admit that this is the biggest reason that I am opposed to Trump. He brings out the worst in everyone.
Years ago, I had the opportunity to see a lecture series that included Gerald Ford. No, I'll be the first to admit that I am no fan of Ford, and actually went to see Christopher Reeve, but I walked away being most impressed by Ford, weird as that sounds. Here was this least regarded of American Presidents, never even elected, and yet he loved America so much, and had such a positive vision of this nation's future. I was in awe.
I challenge any of you to watch Reagan's 1980 RNC acceptance speech, side by side with Trump's speech this year, and I hope that you can understand why I may never forgive the Republican party for what they've done.

Why are Democratic supporters so violent?

That is not a proper question. All democratic supporters are not violent. Some of them are, some of them feel violence but do not act on it, some may be free from that feeling. To understand why we are violent it is necessary only to understand your own self. Violence arises out of the feeling that one can take personal action, violent action to prevent something from happening, something about which there is also a feeling that if it happened it would be terrible. What in the case of your question would you imagine some democrats might fear.

Trump terrifies liberals. He is irrational and reacts via gut instinct. In a politician that can cause a nuclear war, for example. Would you be violent to save the world from such a fate? Violence is always justified by the violent by the belief that the ends justify the means.

You justified calling all democrats violent for the same reason. You hope to save us from violent people
