O boy! You have no idea. On a side note, cookie is a slang term for vagina in johannesburg, south africa (where I am currently studying). But I am longing for some wholesome cookies, literally and provrbially.

It's long outdated American slang for same, too. Hence the ancient joke:

A little girl is getting her hair trimmed in an old time barbershop. She's eating a cookie, and some of her cut hair falls on it. The barber says, "You've got some hair on your cookie."

"Yeah, and I'm only 11 years old, too!"

Ahh. The more you learn, the more you realize how ignorant you are.

Most intelligent people learn this.

Seems to me, the smarter a person is, the younger they learn it.

Some never learn.

I think the programmers at Microsoft invented them and called them cookies so the n00b users would be more apt to accept them. If they called them slugs, no one would support them.

That would make a lot more sense if they hadn't been invented by the programmers at Netscape.

Oh, and the correct answer to the OP is "for no compelling reason".

I'm 21 going on 22 in oct. I heard that phrase when I was 15, I forgot who or where I heard it from but I made it a saying to live by. Back OT, I was bored as hell and this question popped into my head. I thought the the great ATOT repository would surely have an answer and as always it doesn't disappoint (except for once when I asked about pzizz and no one knew).
