Why are conservatives so hateful, usually over nothing? Lizzo

I'm aware of the music artist Lizzo. I'm not a fan of her pop repertoire but heard a sample of her flute playing yesterday. Very impressive. I used to play clarinet and sax back in the day. I know talent when I hear it and she has tons of it (not an intentional fat joke)

As a White Western male I thought all the admiration and praise in the world should go to me. That is what I was told, promised, and believed. Praise and admiration, worship even, is a scarce commodity and all of these various pride simulators who have nothing substantial to point to as personal achievements, just deplete from the supply that should go to me. I agree with the OP regarding the flautist. Far righters have this hierarchy that goes men>women>black women>overweight black women. They are particularly viscious toward the latter.

I wonder if they don't have a point regarding Brittney Griner. Why was Griner's plight more important than Whelan's? Why did the media spend 10x the amount of time writing about one as opposed to the other? I'd be surprised if her being black, female and lesbian had nothing whatsoever to do with it. I can't think of a reason we trade someone high level for one and, thus far, no one for the other.

Separately, the person we traded was a really, really bad guy. This was a lopsided trade. Wondering if it was worth trading that guy for either Griner or Whelan. They should at least have gotten both.
