Why are Asian males unpopular among girls??

I have heard from a number Asian friends (college friends) that Asian guys are unpopular among girls. They say there are a lot of Asian girls who would date white guys exclusively and that when they go for girls outside of their race they often get rejected. Since it seems there are a lot of Asian males in AT, what I am trying to find out is: is this really true? If it is why do you think Asian males are unpopular? Please shed some light, thanks!

They are too nice? I know in my culture, in which education is a a high priority and achievement and respect is expected, there tends to be less party going beer drinking "fun" people. And girls under 25 are usually looking to have fun.

Well for one thing, alot of asian males are small, wimpy and dorky. I'm the opposite. I'm tall built and no a dork!

It's a matter of perception really. ABC girls are sometimes raised in a more liberal fashion and therefore may tend to desire the white meat. Some do it for rebellious reasons. To get a rise out of their family. Others may just find them more attractive based on what they were brought up what attractive is (aka media).

Some guys again are just pushovers. Some guys will do anything to help out a girl who they like and that's the way alot of asian guys were brought up. To please the woman. But alas, the girls just don't get it. well maybe they do I you let them walk all over you, of course they're not gonna want to be with you. Also it seems that since they would be pushovers, they wouldn't exactly be able to make decisions. Girls like it when a guy has control. Not all the time but when deciding where to go etc, the girl tends to want the guy to make the decision.

To sum it all up, alot of asian guys try too hard.

just think....if you're a girl and you go w/ an asian guy, you're guarenteed to be dating someone successful....any other race and its a crapshoot

You make some interesting points, but being nice and respectful are two of the qualities that made my husband stand out from the crowd as far as I was concerned. My husband is Asian, Japanese to be precise.

The REAL answer? You move in the wrong circles. Three of my best friends are either Korean or Chinese. Only one married a girl &quot;of his race&quot;.

I'm happa, and thankfully I don't have that problem. I'm lusted over by both Asian girls AND white girls. Lucky me.
