There are plenty of fat Asians...but the traditional Asian diet tends to play a certain role.

I'm 5'10", weigh about 162lbs, workout religiously. The biggest I've ever been was about 195lbs, but that's back in college when all I did was eat like crap, workout, work, sleep, maybe study a little bit.

I believe he may be referring to asians in the US.

I am curious about that same thing. Why are Asian-Americans always relatively skinny? Do they all have insane metabolism, or is it the diets their strict families have forced on them, or are they forced to go to the gym or something?
Is it more or less family related (certain life style) , is it in their gene pools, or is it mere coincidence?

I have an insane metabolism for the time being. I eat like crazy. For example Hooters, 20 wings to myself with 4 beers would hit the spot, yet im still skinny. Hopefully it doesnt backfire on me as i age..

I'm Korean, 6' tall and I used to be 250 lbs. I was not a small, skinny guy.

However, through diet and exercise, I went down to around 195. i'm now stable around 210 or so. Still, by no means am I skinny.

Us Koreans tend to be physically bigger than the Chinese (except the northern chinese) and Japanese. I guess it's the Mongol blood in us.

I think it's our diet.

I used to be rail thin. But when I hit college and ate pizza, fries, burgers, fired everything, I got FAT. Skinny fat which is the worst.

Asian diets are rice, noodles, kimchi, fish, clean meats. We really don't fry our food.

its because of all the calories burned while fapping to videos of teenage asian girls dancing around in micro-skirts. ;)

I'm sure a good part of it can be attributed to the asian parents not subjecting their kids to poor eating habits. I always ate well, still do...and yeah, I have a pretty good metabolism. 5'11", 155lb...this is the heaviest I've been and it's due to my workout regimen.

That's not skinny, that's normal, you just have a distorted perspective because you're (probably) a white american.

I don't think they learn to over indulge like many Americans do. Somewhere back before them or their parents came over to the US, food was not a plentiful, maybe, so they've learned eating lots takes lower priority, perhaps?
