Why antec 550W always on sale on newegg?

Just wondering. I bought a seasonic s12 500W after researching the two. Does newegg have a surplus of these things?

Generally, Seasonic > Fortron > Antec.

Actually, there's a whole generation of power supplies they are quickly trying to dump. Not just Antec, but many other companies as well. It's all because they are going to hype the SLI certified types next.
