Why am I watching "The Real Gilligan's Island"???

I Tivo'd the first episode and watched it at 2x fast forward. Basically once they introduced the characters i lost interest.
 
Definitely a guilty pleasure! Rachel Hunter is pretyy hot. I'm sure we've all ogled her looks, but she's got personality too.
 
I'm watching. The first team was a perfect pick, but the second team......

1. Professor: openly gay professor of sociology. WTF? The professor from the show knew about science. Then they chose a gay one. Why? Well.....

2. The millionaire (who isn't even that rich - $5 million net worth as opposed to $500 million net worth on the other team, so he's not even in the same class), and he has a GAY HATING WIFE. Gee, let's make some staged conflict there....

3. Gilligan on the 2nd team looks like he's retarded or something. I mean, wow...he talks really strange, not to mention he acts like a goofball. Anyone else think he's a bit off?

I also don't like the fact that they're trying to eliminate each other. I think they should all stay as a team and try to beat the other team off the island. They screwed up a potentially great idea from the start. Drat...I had high hopes for this too 🙁
 
Didn't Mary-Anne Kate say she had a boyfriend back home?? looks like her and Gilligan Chris are doing what we always thought should have happend in the original show... 🙂
 
LOL, I kinda like it. It's so staged it's hilarious. If you watch closely, when there are outdoor shots of characters, lots of stuff is blurred out in the background. Wonder what that is all about? 😉 Plus the Mary Anne's and Rachel Hunter (who, btw, I've found to be a generally awesome person by her performance on the show) are easy on the eyes. 🙂

Yeah, the eye candy keeps me watching. Plus it's a simple show, I don't have to think much to watch this... 🙂.
 
The best part was then the Skipper almost died on the beach. That had me ROFLMAO... the rest was pretty uninteresting.
 
WHY did i watch this series? i know it looked terrible from the start, but i stuck with it....BIG mistake.

the only consolation was Mary Anne Kate who was smokin hot.

kinda dumb how the whole thing was setup. the millionaires had 2 votes instead of 1 vote like everyone else.

show seemed heavily scripted.


 
My father is watching that show for some reason... I think it's retarded... and I'm sure he's only watching it for Mary-Anne...
