I can almost guarantee that I'm worse. I have a Biochem test tomorrow- stopped going to class after our last test, and have to cram a months worth of notes into one night. It's three, and I'm through two days worth. I've been playing video games, poker, talking with friends, anything but studying. The worst part is, I have to do this three more times before Friday rolls around. But hey, that's the way I work, so I can't whine. Who knows, I might even do pretty decent on the tests, it's worked before.

You like feeling good about feeling bad for your self so you're always setting your self up for failure..and while your in that self induced rut your life is timing out..you know what to do to change. Time is the enemy..and we all time out...sooner or later. Too old to soon..too smart too late...

A couple of months ago my procrastination got so bad that, instead of writing an essay I had due the next day, I wrote a 2500 word exploration on why I procrastinate.

I'm with ya. I'm trying to find the happy medium between laziness and OK grades. Last year, I worked too hard and burned out, for nothing. I got crap grades, probably because I tried to remember everything and very little of it was relevant when I took the tests. This year I'm gonna try to B.S. more of the responses.

Yeah this procrastinating is paying off with sleep deprivation. I went to bed last night at 2 am and got up at ~5:30. I just got out of the shower and ate breakfast. Time to go to school and study for the remaining 3 hours before the exam.

After my classes, I'm going home and crashing. I'll have to take the afternoon off from work, but that won't be a problem, I have a ton of vacation time built up.

it's like depression. You know you have it, but because of it you can't stop doing it.

It can be dangerous man. I used to procrastinate like you. It reached its peek in college where I didn't even attend my classes. I failed out of nearly every class from lack of attendance. Didn't do midterms, didn't do projects, nothing. I had a ton of fun in college, but somewhat regret screwing it up.

After college I made some necessary changes in my life, but I also found that I barely ever procrastinate at my work. Its like a completely different environment.
