Why am i stupid?

ok here i am there is a wreck on the road so like an idiot i figure all the cops in the area would be there (slow side of town 2 maybe 3 cops patrolling) so at the next light a guy on a bike similar to mine (GSXR600) pulls up and then we get this male ego thing going so light turns green road turns into a track. speed limit is 45mph we were doing an easy 130, i look at the mirrors and see that i have him beat by a few hundred feet as i look up and see a cop in the shopping complex doing radar...we immediatly let off the gas...then see his head lights turn on so we take off. luckly i got away tonight but i work right across the street from where he was taking radar, so i dont think i can take my bike to work any time soon.

anyway is just being 20 and hot headed?

as for some laws i broke this is what i can think

wreckless endangerment
street racing
speeding 80+ MPH over legal limit
evading a police officer
driving without a valid licence (no motorcycle license)

as for the license FL requires anyone under 21 to take a motorcycle safty course which is $250 i think its rediculous because i have been riding for years

anyways add to the broken laws or gimme input

i think it's funny you're saying it's stupid for you to take a "Motorcycle Safety Course" in the same post as all the laws you just broke and proud enough to tell ATOT about.

Dude, BigJimbo, really, invest in the safety course, it may take some days away from the thousands of days in your life, but what if it saves your life? Or maybe... just maybe... lets you legally ride the bike? :Q
 
Hope you helmet doesn't end up in the grill of a truck! That said; I've evaded a couple of times by splitting dense traffic, many years ago.

i dont think the course is stupid for inexperienced riders, ive been riding for about 10 years, from dirtbikes, 4 wheelers, ATV's you name it. What really gets me is the obsurd $250 fee for a class that teaches you how to ride the clutch, turn the bike, weave btwn cones, and answer questionaires

he was too far back to get my tag and my tag is kinda hard to see beacuse of the way the tag is mounted hehhe

edit i had to do that one time...a kid thought it would be funny to throw somethig at me as i crossed an intersection hit my whindshield and barely missed me....so i turned around with my "road rage" chased him down, and all i had was a can of copenhagen snuff, so i threw it at him and hit him in the face and took off.....sure enough my luck traffic...he was catching back up so i went btwn all the cars and made the turn...leaving him stuck there with a sore cheek and a car full of cope

Thats whats being young is for, you know I have had around 20 bikes and should of died many times on them but thank God I made.

You know living on the edge makes you feel so alive, but it can also put you 6 feet under.

I hade a few close friends that I grew up with not make it to 21 by living on the edge.

I have no regrets for the crazy things I did when I was young, I have incredible memories of things I did that many people live their whole lives never having that feeling of being on the edge.

Its better to regret the things you have done then to regret the things you did not do.

 
Just think man, you were inches from dying there. All it took was one wrong move and at 130 on a motorcycle you have no chance...

Good race though
 
BTW-that driving without a valid license (no motorcycle license) offense is a misdemeanor and not a civil infraction like most moving violations and as such can prelude you from certain jobs and will permanently be on your record.

i didnt post the location and all that my profile says is that im in FL...so he cant trace me by much..hah inless i did a trade of some sort with him.

i know several cops in the area..just not that department...which is why i took off

DOL is a criminal offence in FL and will land me a night in jail...especially if they would have nailed me tongiht
